Whether you are looking for a private, quiet weekend away or a place to hold your retreat, Priest Field is waiting for you to take a step onto hallowed ground. As an ecumenical center, Priest Field is grounded in Catholic spirituality and welcomes people from many backgrounds to use the facility for religious, educational, and formational purposes.
Priest Field can accommodate groups of many sizes and missions. The rooms at All Hallow’s Hall, the conference spaces with a variety of A/V options, and chapel spaces will all be at your group’s disposal.
Meal options are available from our dining room. Groups also have the option of preparing their own meals in San Pedro Kitchen.
All groups have full access to the trails and outdoor spaces, including kayaking on the Opequon Creek.
Priest Field is open to those who are seeking a quiet place for reflection.
The Blessed Sacrament is reserved in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, which is accessible at all times. However, Priest Field does not yet have a daily mass on site. Fortunately, the sacraments are available within a 15-minute drive at St. James in Charles Town, Immaculate Conception Priory in Charles Town (Latin), and St. Leo in Inwood.
Private retreatants are responsible for their own meals, but access to refrigerator and food preparation space is available.
As part of our mission of supporting Christian families in pursuing their vocation, we have three large family cabins at Priest Field designed to accommodate families of all shapes and sizes. They provide easy access to the property’s trails, kayaks, and chapels, as well as local attractions including Downtown Charles Town and Historic Harpers Ferry National Park. The center is also 90 minutes from Downtown Washington, DC, making the family retreat cabin a strong base for a day trip.
Each cabin contains a kitchenette with stove and refrigerator, dining area, bathrooms, two full-size beds, and at least four bunk beds (each bunk bed sleeps two).
Family cabins may also be utilized by retreat groups of other types, such as youth or confirmation retreats.
